Have You Seen Him?
The Chin Ramp
In 1986 Powell/Peralta contacted Tim Payne about a secret project for an upcoming movie. At the time they were not really sure exactly what they wanted, but they wanted it to be something that has never been built before, only dreamed about. So, Tim, Stacy Peralta, Tommy Kay (TK) & "The Bones Brigade" climbed into the "Think Tank" (The Blue Tile Lounge) , sat down @ the round table & brainstormed. After allot of great ideas the ramp design was conceived.
Built in secret between two junkyards south of Guadeloupe sat the first "Spine Ramp" & it was 48' wide, 85' long with 9' 1/2" trannies, 1' 9" vert, 3' Extension, 5' wide Channel, 2' tall mini-ramp on the platform, an escalator, & removable tunnel.
Although the "Bones Brigade" were in search of Animal Chin, they found someone just as worthy as being a Zen Master, Tim Payne.
